They Found the One Piece

The anime / manga “One Piece” has been a cultural phenomenon for years. It details the journey of a crew of friend as they navigate the wacky world of the great sea, and all the quirks that comes with universe, such as powers from devil fruits. However for the last 30 years they were unable to find the great “One Piece” treasure that would make them the king of the pirates. It is supposedly all the treasure that the greatest pirate Gold Rodger found, and it is all in one place, hence the name.

Finding it

In the latest work, the nearly 30 year wait is over as they finally found the treasure. However, it was not without consequence, as most of the main crew including Nami, Chopper, and Sanji died in the final battle. But as they went to collect the treasure, they found the real treasure was the friends they made along the way, as Gold Rodger who faked his death was in the cave, he gives the remaining crew each a gold sticker. He then goes onto explain that what makes a pirate great isn’t wealth, but having a strong crew.

Aftermath

Luffy fucking kills himself.
