Price Hikes of LGBTQ+ are Causing People to Unsubscribe
As time goes on, it seems like companies are getting more and more greedy. Recently the price hike of LGBTQ+ from $11.99 (without ads) to $16.99 (with ads) has caused an outrage. Many saying that they have already canceled their LGBTQ+ subscriptions to use the cheaper LGTBQ, even with its lesser features. A group of passionate community members is working to make a torrent of LGBTQ+ so you can access the features for free, however they have allegedly gone missing.
The reason for the price hikes according to the CEO of Apple Tim Cook (who acquired LGBTQ+ back in 2019 for $80,081,350,000) are "Higher cost of living requires us to pay or workers more, as well as I am trying to fundraise for another private jet." and "during covid we had a massive surge of signups, and over scaled our team, now that it is dying down, we are unable to produce the revenue we hoped for."
This decision however is creating large amounts of general backlash, with many people starting boycotts of LGBTQ+ and LGBTQ as a whole unless they lower the price, we have people seeking alternatives, however there doesn't seem to be any good ones on the market yet. Due to these changes the number of people who are switching to / just sticking to being straight have skyrocketed. This has also had the unintended effect of leaving boomers with even less people to discriminate against, as ever since ICE deported a majority of non-white people in America, this has been their final thing. This has led them to start treating women like objects again and trying to restart the patriarchy.
